A big week

Thank you to everyone involved in the Civic Involvement speaker panel at COCC Friday evening.  The event was a great success, and $681.00 was raised for COSMO.  We also had the opportunity to talk to some inspiring community leaders.

 

Congratulations to our big laptop winner, Hara Lim.  We made a trip downtown to personally deliver the grand prize.  We hope you enjoy your new HP laptop.  Thank you for your support!

We have a brand new fundraiser beginning, and we need your help!  We have recycling boxes made to collect cans and bottles.  We are in need of businesses to put our boxes out. This can be in a staff break room or out in public areas. If you have a bag full of cans and bottles in your garage, let us know and we will come pick them up too.  If you are able to help us you can post contact information in the comment section here, or contact Jennifer at 541-678-2115 or jwisniewski@cocc.edu.

We have two community leaders who are hosting a private function for us this week.  We are also busy preparing for final exams which are next week.  Thank you to everyone helping to get the word out about our group and the work we are doing.
